In the Karachi Test, Babar Azam scored his 25th fifty-plus of the year, after which the Pakistan captain joined Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara


Babur broke Yusuf's record and won another honor


Sangakkara scored 25 fifties in 2014 and Babar scored 7 international centuries and 18 fifties that year.


Earlier, Babar Azam had claimed the honor of the Pakistani cricketer who scored the most international runs in a calendar year.
